How Many Continuing Education Hours Do I Need for Contracting Licence in Utah
Utah Contractor Continuing Education
A Contractor Licensee is obligated to complete six hours of continuing education each licensing period. Three hours must be "core" education and the remaining three may be "core" or "professional" related.
Utah Contractors are required to complete their continuing education (CE) by November 30, 2021. The Utah Department of Licensing (DOPL) requires a minimum of 6 hours of contractor continuing education to renew your contractor's license every 2 years.
For the 2021 renewal, Utah is requiring one hour of "Energy Conservation" to be completed. This will count as one of your 6 hours.
*The DOPL allows for all continuing education hours to be completed online (THROUGH December 31st, 2021). All of our online classes are led by a live instructor and count as live hours.
Why Choose Contractors School?
I had the pleasure of doing my B100 program through the school. I enrolled in the full service plan which was perfect with my busy schedule because it was start to finish support. Everything was a breeze except the application process. To say I procrastinated on gathering all my info for the final paperwork would be an understatement, however, I was lucky enough to work with Hayley Evans. She would constantly stay on top of things and helped me piece together all the numbers and info needed. Without her help I would not have been able to add GC to my already roofing license. Top notch to say the least and I will always refer people to use the school and Hayley. Thanks again!
What are the easiest things I've ever had to do thanks to the girls and the staff the contractor school Haley was amazing getting all the stuff she's need from me to make things happen in such a short amount of time
I worked with Hayley extensively at The Contractor's School. She was extremely helpful in helping me set up my General Contracting Business and getting everything ready to take advantage of my license. Every time I have worked with The Contractor's school, I have experienced amazing service, a high degree of professionalism and excellent follow through. I highly recommend the Contractor's School to anyone interested in becoming a Sub-Contractor or General Contractor. They take any guess work out of the equation. Great job guys!!!
